Release Notes 9.9.2026 (Release 89.0.2)

Enhancements:

2. Wanting the system to validate the inventory availability of related equipment items before they are added to an event, so that I can avoid errors and automatically adjust requested quantities to the maximum available inventory:

The Related Items feature has been enhanced to validate inventory availability when equipment is added to an event. If a requested quantity exceeds available inventory, the system now displays a clear warning message and automatically adjusts the quantity to the maximum available amount instead of generating a generic error.

This improvement provides better visibility into inventory constraints, prevents invalid quantities, and ensures users can continue modifying quantities as needed while maintaining accurate inventory tracking.

Bug Fixes:
1. Equipment items with inventory across multiple cost centers are incorrectly blocked by overbooking validation:

Inventory-tracked equipment can now utilize available inventory across multiple Cost Centers. When sufficient inventory exists across Cost Centers, users can allocate quantities from each location instead of receiving an overbooking error based on a single Cost Center's availability.

This enhancement improves inventory flexibility by validating against the total available inventory, supporting Cost Center quantity allocation, preserving allocations on saved events, and continuing to prevent true overbooking when the combined inventory is insufficient.
