Release Notes 23

Release Date: 12/23/2024

1. Created Standard Information Headers
We developed, standard information headers to be connected across departments which helps in maintaining consistency. This standardization makes it easier to share and understand data between departments, as everyone will be familiar with the format and the information included in the headers.

2. Removed Time from Date Headers

We updated the Date Headers in the Main Sales, Production, Staffing and Kitchen View to display dates without time information. This change likely helps in simplifying the display and making the information more relevant and easier to read for users who only need the date.

3. Implemented “Hours” Button

We implemented a new “Hours” button in the Staff Production Scheduling by Event window that allows users to view the available hours of staff members. This feature helps in efficiently planning and assigning work based on the availability of workers, ensuring that scheduling is done more effectively.

4. Disabled Inactive Menu Checkbox

We disabled the checkbox selection in the event editor for inactive menu packages to prevent inadvertent modifications. This change helps to avoid accidental changes or updates to these inactive packages, ensuring that only active menu packages can be modified.

5. Event Calendar Grid Persistence

We added a grid persistence feature to the event calendar window to retain user preferences across sessions.

This means that any customizations or settings a user applies to the event calendar grid, such as column widths, sorting, or filters, will be saved and remain consistent even after the user logs out and logs back in. This feature enhances the user experience by ensuring that their preferred view of the event calendar is maintained, saving time and effort in reapplying settings.

6. Block Event Scheduling Beyond Capacity

We enhanced the system functionality to block scheduling events beyond venue capacity limits, ensuring compliance with constraints. The system now prevents users from scheduling events that exceed the venue's capacity. If an attempt is made to schedule beyond the allowed limit, a warning prompt will notify the user that the capacity has been reached. This feature helps to ensure that events are planned within the venue's constraints, avoiding overbooking and potential issues with space and resources.

A warning prompt will appear when the delivery capacity has reached its limit.
