Adding a Package to an Event

To add a package to an event, click on the [+] sign next to the category in which the package resides.

If you wish to add a beverage package, click [+] Beverage and then click on the word Packages.

If you wish to add a menu package, click [+] Menu and then click on the word Packages.

If you wish to add an equipment package, click [+] Equipment and then click on the word Packages.

If you wish to add a miscellaneous package, click [+] Miscellaneous and then click on the word Packages.

For our example, we will use Equipment Packages.

In the search field, type in “CHINA.”

Double-click to open the CHINA PLACE SETTING Package and click on the arrow next to the word Options to expand.

The first section, Equipment Package Item, will be read-only.

The next section, Order Details, is where you will enter the number of Guests this package accommodates and view and select the package items (if there are substitutions).

Use the scrollbar on the right to view all of the items in the package. If you see an item highlighted in blue, it means that it offers substitutions. Click on that item to open the list of its substitutions:

Select the item that you wish to include in this package.

The next section, Order Details, is where you will enter the Sequence, Location, Production Notes, and Contract Notes.

Enter the Sequence number. The sequence number is the order by which the staff list will appear on the Order Review. We recommend that you enter items with the numbering system by 10s (tens). For example, the first item is sequence number 10, the second is sequence number 20, etc.

Make sure the “Print Item” box is checked, and make sure the “Print Photo” box is checked if it is available.

To add a package location, click on the [+] button.

The location could be as simple as “Dining Room” or “Main Hall.”

Click OK.

Production Notes are the internal notes for your warehouse or packing team, and Contract Notes are displayed on the client documents.

When you are finished with this section, click [Save].

The items in the package will show up as individual line items in the list below:

If line items show up in red, it means that they may not be available for your event. Check the usage to confirm their availability.

When you have confirmed, click [Save & Close].
