Inventory Locations

Inventory locations refer to specific areas or storage spaces within a facility where food items and supplies are stored or kept. These locations may include refrigerators, freezers, dry storage areas, shelves, cabinets, or designated sections of a warehouse. Each inventory location is typically assigned a unique identifier or name to facilitate accurate tracking and retrieval of items. Proper organization of inventory locations helps streamline inventory management processes, optimize storage space, prevent waste, and ensure efficient access to needed items for food preparation and service.
