Salesperson
The Salesperson module is where you define and manage the sales representatives available throughout Elecate. Every salesperson record created here becomes a selectable option across the system — from customer assignments and event management to commission tracking, goal setting, and Sales & Marketing Reports.
Keeping your Salesperson list accurate and up to date ensures that:
- Customers and events are correctly attributed to the right representative
- Commission calculations and Salesperson Goal reports reflect actual team structure
- Sales & Marketing Reports can be filtered and segmented by salesperson
- The CRM workflow (Last Action, Next Action, Call Back) is tied to the correct owner
Steps to access:
- On the side panel go to General Setup
- Select Marketing

3. Click on Create and Edit Sales People

4. The Salesperson management window opens. From here you can edit existing records or add a new salesperson.

Field Definitions
Identity fields
| Field | Type | Description |

| ID | Auto-generated | System identifier. Read-only. Assigned automatically on creation. |
| First Name | Text | Salesperson's first name as it will appear throughout the system. |
| Last Name | Text | Salesperson's last name. |
| Initials | Text | Short identifier used in reports and dropdowns (e.g., "BLZR"). Should be unique per salesperson. |
| Text | Salesperson's contact email. May be used for system notifications depending on configuration. | |
| Phone | Text | Salesperson's direct phone number. |
Status & configuration

| Is Active | Toggle (ON/OFF) | Controls whether this salesperson appears in dropdowns across the system. Set to OFF when a rep leaves — do not delete. |
