Release Notes 9.23.2026 (Release 90)

Enhancement:

1. Synchronize Legacy Settings to include Add-on Charges Taxes sync for Shopping Cart:

 Tax calculations for add-on charges are now synchronized correctly with the Shopping Cart, ensuring consistency between Elecate and portal billing. This includes taxes applied to Damage Waiver, Fuel Surcharge, Service Charge, Commission, and Gratuity, based on the configured jurisdiction and tax settings. 

2. System preventing duplicate payment submissions:

The Apply Payment process has been enhanced to prevent duplicate payment submissions. When a payment is being processed, the Save button is automatically disabled, ensuring that only one payment record is created even if the button is clicked multiple times.

3. Ability to save an event without entering Food Delivery information when Food Delivery is not required, so that I am not forced to complete delivery fields that are not applicable to the event:

 A new TurnOffFoodDelivery setting allows organizations to hide the Food Delivery section and remove Food Delivery date requirements when they are not needed. 

4. Controling Default Cost Center Selection and Quantity Allocation with an AppSetting:

 A new BothCostCenterDefault setting automatically selects applicable Cost Centers and allocates inventory based on availability. Additionally, Related Items can now pull inventory from the event's Cost Center, improving inventory allocation and reducing availability issues. 

5. Allow Related Item Inventory to Use the Event Cost Center:

 A new RelatedItemUseEventCostCenter setting allows Related Items to use the Event Cost Center first when allocating inventory, helping ensure inventory is pulled from the most relevant location before checking other available Cost Centers. 

Bug Fix:

1. Unable to Scroll Through Dropdown/List Fields Due to UI Glitch:

 Lists and dropdown menus have been enhanced to support smooth scrolling and consistent navigation. Users can now access all available records using the mouse, trackpad, or keyboard, ensuring items remain accessible regardless of their position in the list. 

2. Card added through Global PayFields has no card type, so the charge succeeds and Empower records nothing:

An issue affecting Credit Card Type tracking has been resolved. The system now captures and stores card type information more accurately, improving the reliability of payment reporting and transaction records.
