Recipe Prep Items

To build the recipe prep items: 

1. On the side panel go to Data Items

 2. Click on Food Management

3. Select Recipe Management (Active Items Only)

4. On the next screen, you have the option to create a New Entry or Edit the current information by selecting the pen icon

5. If you need to create a new entry: first you need to enter a name, second select a group, third select a master filter, fourth the toggle Active needs to be on, fifth select a recipe to serve, sixth portion quantity (number), seventh yield quantity (number), eighth portion quantity (letter), ninth yield quantity (letter), tenth select a recipe type.

Once the information has been entered, this is how the window looks.  

If you want to add comments to the recipe, click on Descriptions and write the information, then click on save and close. 

6. Once you are in the recipe, then you need to go to Recipe Prep tab and click on New

 
7. On this screen, then you need to fill in the require information:  

First: The Prep Item Name, second: you need to select a Quantity, third the units (Each, Feet, Gallon, Gram, etc), fourth the Prep Area, fifth the temperature and sixth do not forget to turn on the Scale toggle, click save and close. 

If you need to add comments to Method of Prep, just click on that option and then you can start to type in, do not forget to click on save and close.
